Here are a few shots I took from my last trip to one of my favourite places in the world, New York. I realised that I hadn't really addressed it and have gotten a few questions on the 'New York bound' part of my bio so thought I would make a post on it: I found out in December that I had been accepted to study at NYU which is absolutely crazy and I move there at the end of August; saying that I'm starting the next period of my life would be a major understatement. I would definitely say that my style is influenced by my surroundings and I can't wait to see how it will evolve and I will of course be documenting the journey with you all.

Recently, the weather seems not to be able to make up its mind; one minute it will be cold in the mornings, the next it's bright and warm in the afternoon, so choosing what to wear in the morning has become even more strategic. For the mornings, a warm coatigan, yes you heard me right, coatigan has proved to be great to both keep me warm but not too hot. This beautiful dress from asos is also perfect as it's black (which makes it great for autumn, winter and early spring wear) but its floatiness makes it still light enough to wear when it gets warmer.
