Hello old friend. It has been what feels like an eternity since I last blogged (work stress, university application stress/ personal matters etc) and I really felt as if I needed a fresh start. It's a new year and I'm about to start the next chapter of my life in six short months and I realised how much I really missed blogging, so I decided to completely revamp and re-energise my blog. I wanted to start afresh; this basically meant getting rid of all the old posts I didn't really like and completely changing the theme. I feel like now I'm really ready to get back to where I used to be in terms of blogging and would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone who gave me virtual kicks on the backside to get back on my blogging grind (I promise that I'll stay on it!).

A few simple things that I bought yesterday whilst in Topshop. I have been searching for the perfect gold chain necklace for so long and was praying that Topshop would have one but alas I was disappointed. However I did find this silver one and I fell in love instantly. I'm usually always drawn to gold jewellery and so was a bit tentative to venture into the world of silver jewellery but now that I've jumped in I have to admit that I'm loving it!

I also got this pack of four slim gold rings and I have to say that I'm already obsessed. They are so delicate and simple and I know that I will be wearing with almost every outfit! Not to mention that they were an absolute bargain!
