I have recently resurrected by Polyvore page to share some of my recent purchases that I can't get enough of! In particular, I've been wearing my Nike's (5.) to death, and when I saw that the Air Prism Pink colour-way (4.) was on sale, I couldn't help myself! I've also been obsessed with Ganni for a long time and finally bought my first piece: the Romily top in a lush navy and pink stripe print! If you follow me on instagram, which you deff should ;) btw, then you'll have probably noticed that my earrings of choice for a very long time have been these cute imitation pearl earrings from Topshop!
I'm definitely going to be using my Polyvore account a lot more (as I've rediscovered how enjoyable it is) so make sure to give me a follow on there too ==> chishmalata!

Hello everyone! It has been way too long since I last spoke to you and I am so so sorry! As many of you may or may not know, I go to university in New York now, which is super exciting but also very tiring and hectic (hence the lack of outfit posts) but I promise I will get better at managing my time i.e. will post more blog posts. As a way of showing you a few things that I've bought recently for the big freeze here across the pond, I thought that I would do a little post about winter in New York and a few of my essentials. First of all, I bought this really cosy coat from Topshop; what I love about it is not only is the big fur collar warm but it's also detachable, and the sleeves are tapered in, meaning the cold will be kept out. I bought a pair of Uniqlo's heat tech gloves and not only are they warm, but they were great value. Of course, you need a pair of heavy duty boots and I decided on this pair from Dr Martens as they have great grip and are really chunky which I love. You may have noticed this from my instagram (find here!) but I have a new short 'do and with all this crazy wind, I've need grips to keep my hair out of my face, hence these ones from Madewell. I'm short-sighted and with all the extra darkness and snow I need all the help I can get to see (as I'm already incredibly clumsy), and was feeling a pair of new frames, so got these ones from Warby Parker; I love this brand so much because not only do they have an amazing range of frames at great prices but for every pair you buy, they donate a pair to someone in need! A lipstick which I'm in absolute love with is this one from MAC in Love Forever! And last, but by no means least, I have this jumper from American Apparel, which is fab at keeping you warm and looking good!

Imminent examinations have rendered me somewhat unable to post as often as I would like to (I promise, this is only temporary) however in my revision breaks I have been doing some browsing and here are a few items that have caught my eye. The weather here in England is somewhat temperamental but these items all work fabulously for transitioning into SS14.

A few simple things that I bought yesterday whilst in Topshop. I have been searching for the perfect gold chain necklace for so long and was praying that Topshop would have one but alas I was disappointed. However I did find this silver one and I fell in love instantly. I'm usually always drawn to gold jewellery and so was a bit tentative to venture into the world of silver jewellery but now that I've jumped in I have to admit that I'm loving it!
I also got this pack of four slim gold rings and I have to say that I'm already obsessed. They are so delicate and simple and I know that I will be wearing with almost every outfit! Not to mention that they were an absolute bargain!
